OneWay Sports Signs First Female Client: Hailey MacLeod Joins the Roster

In a landmark moment for OneWay Sports, the agency proudly announces the signing of standout Canadian forward Hailey MacLeod as its first female athlete. The 6-foot Cape Breton University (CBU) veteran brings not only an impressive resume on the court but also a reputation for academic excellence and leadership off of it.

A proven performer in U SPORTS, MacLeod has been a cornerstone for the CBU Capers over five collegiate seasons. Her consistency and versatility in the frontcourt have made her a force across Atlantic University Sport (AUS), posting career averages of 10.8 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. Her standout 2021-22 season saw her average 13.3 points and 9.5 rebounds, earning her a reputation as one of the most complete forwards in the conference.

MacLeod has racked up an array of accolades during her collegiate career: U SPORTS All-Rookie Team, AUS Rookie of the Year, CBU Rookie of the Year, and most recently, the 2025 CBU Women’s Basketball Caper Award. A U SPORTS Academic All-Canadian in 2024, she is a true embodiment of the student-athlete ideal, showing the same drive in the classroom as she does on the hardwood.
